Phmon Penh – Tonle Bati – Siem Reap – Phnom Penh ( 6 days/ 5 nights)

 

Day 1: Arrival – Phnom Penh

On arrival at Po Chan Tong Aiport, meet your guide and trensfer to your hotel . The capital city of Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history , it still maintains considerable charm. A city tour acquaints us with its major sights. The private quarters of the Royal Palace are now home to the royal family and ear therefore closed to the puplic . At the northern area of the palace grounds is the Silver Pagoda, wich is the most sacred temple in the cuontry. We visit both structures as well as the National Museum, with an excellent collection of actefacts illustrating the splendour of Khmer history. O/N in Phnom Penh.

 

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Tonle Bati – Phnom Penh

After breakfast , we continue exploring the capital city with the bustling Central market, the Independence Monument, Wat Ounalom and Wat Phnom , topped with a huge stupa as well as a Buddhist temple . As a major part of uor sightseeing tour, we transfer out of the town to visit the Tonle Bati with Ta Prohm and Prasat Yeay Peo Temple, the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious “Killing Fields” of Choeung Ek, which provides a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the khmer Rouge. Day 3: Phnom Penh – Sien Reap

A short morning flight to Siem Reap . The town of Siem Reap is our base for visiting the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor .After cheking into your hotel , we drive to the archeological area to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its seres of colossal human faces carved in stone, th impressive bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure , Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper king and the largest and most complete structure of Angkor Wat. O/N in Siem Reap.

 

Day 4: Siem Reap

The temple of Ta Prohm, with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing themselves in the stone foundations of the sstructure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature is an incredible sight. We esplore this masterplece as well as its surrounding temples of Banteay circuit including Preah Khan, the Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temple is also visited, this afternoon before we walk up to Phnom Bakheng Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments. Day 5: Siem Reap

 Heading out of the town , we esplore some outlying sights including the Preah Dark village, the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei, the River of 1000 Lingas, locally named Kbal Spean and the Banteay Sanre Temple, with its impressive reliefs depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. We aloso have time, today to see the grand circuit with Preah Khan, the Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup Temple and strolling around the town for your own esploraton. Day 6: Phnom Penh – Departure

After breakfast, we embark on a short cruise on Tonle Sap Lake , Cambodia’s biggest natural lake , stopping along the way for an enjoyable visit to a floating village and see fisherman at work ( if time permits). The tour ends after your transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure.
